ZTE Launches 4G Handset in US through MetroPCS

Chinese telecom equipment and terminal manufacturer ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) today announced the availability of the ZTE Avid 4G in the US through US telecom operator MetroPCS. The handset features LTE connectivity, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4" screen, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA front-facing camera, and runs on an Android 4.0 system. The ZTE Avid 4G is available free of charge with a USD 40 to USD 70 monthly service plan.
