Hunan Satellite TV Launches TV-Smartphone SNS App

Hunan Satellite TV recently launched an interactive TV mobile SNS app, "Hu La" ("Whonow"). After installing the mobile application, users can create a Whonow online persona and scan a 2D barcode provided on TV during several Hunan Satellite TV program broadcasts to receive various rewards and benefits, add friends, create an address book, engage in individual and group chat, and exchange virtual items with other users.

The app will be available in all major app stores on December 28, and Hunan Satellite TV will hold an official launch event on New Year's Day to unveil the Android version, to be followed by the iOS version.
