13-Month Records and 27 musicians and artists joined together yesterday to send a legal notice to Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) in which 13-Month CEO Lu Zhongqiang said that his record label had collected and notarized evidence of copyright infringement on 137 of its songs by Baidu's MP3 search engine.
In an exclusive interview with tech.qq.com, Xiao Yongquan, CEO of Chinese mobile gaming platform Downjoy, revealed that the company is testing the waters for the integration of mobile games and television programming with a new mobile entertainment platform, CNTV Zhang Zhong Leyuan (3g.cntv.cn), developed in cooperation with China Network TV (CNTV), the online broadcasting subsidiary of state-run television station CCTV.
