China's 2012 Smart Terminal Shipments, Mobile Data Traffic Up 200% YoY

Xu Zhiyuan, director of the Information Network Department of China Academy of Telecommunication Research's (CATR) Planning Office, today disclosed that China's smart terminal shipments are expected to grow 150-200% YoY in 2012, while mobile data traffic will grow 200%.

CATR is a division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
