Xie Feibo, director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) Radio Administration Bureau, revealed that the Ministry has officially granted access to another 50 MHz of spectrum for China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) TD-SCDMA network to provide better indoor coverage, increasing the total spectrum for China Mobile's 3G services to 85 MHz.
At the "2009 China Mobile Phone Industry Head Annual Forum" held in Beijing today, Zhao Bo, deputy director of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) IT Industry Department, said that from November 2008 through October 2009, China's electronics industry has experienced consistent negative growth.
